Shaan S. Chima Associate

Shaan Chima is an associate at Gebhardt & Smith where he represents banks, commercial finance companies, and other secured and unsecured creditors in matters that include commercial workout and real estate transactions, bankruptcy matters, commercial loan collection and commercial litigation.

Before Shaan commenced his legal career, he studied economics at Colgate University, graduating with a B.A. magna cum laude. While at Colgate, he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and he was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Shaan graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law where he earned his J.D. and was a Symposium Editor of the Journal of Business & Technology Law.
